When Dame Joanna Lumley and Leonardo DiCaprio filmed the kissing scene on a park bench in “The Wolf of Wall Street,” it wasn’t as enjoyable as it may have seemed. During a charity dinner for Elizabeth’s Legacy of Hope, Lumley revealed that the scene required multiple takes and lots of chewing gum, making the whole experience less fun than viewers might expect. In fact, the actress shared that it felt like kissing someone in a dentist’s waiting room because of all the gum and mints they had to use to disinfect their breath. Lumley previously joked in 2014 that the 27 takes were one of the main reasons she took the part, but the reality was far from glamorous.
